This week, we welcome into the studio (via the wonders of the interwebs) Oz, Grunge and Death of My Dark Reality. Although they bill themselves as an alternative rock band, their sound encompasses myriad styles of music, giving them a sound all their own.
Although the band only formed last year, they are all accomplished musicians that know how to rock. Grunge (vocals) relates her time working at Interscope Records, while Oz (guitar) and our intrepid host dive deep into his two Gibson Les Paul axes and Marshall stacks (tube amps rule, baby!), and Death (bass) extols the virtues of wearing all black shirts.
Of course, we talk about the truly collaborative songwriting process the band has in place, as well as drop two new songs! There are stories (Oz knows how to weave a musical tale, for sure), laughter and so much more jam-packed into 60 minutes…
