This week, Columbus singer-songwriter and 2014 Ohio Music Award winner Lisa Gain brings her Americana-flavored and intensely personal musical storytelling to the show as she joins us in the studio.

Having played as a solo artist for 20 years, she now is producing solid music as part of a trio. Throughout her songs, you hear the pain of real life issues, all the while embracing a deeply hopeful spirit that breaks through even the most somber of her lyrics.

We play four of her wonderful songs, three of which are solo numbers of hers. The fourth is an exclusive premiere of a new song from Lisa Gain & The Rusty Silos.

We never know where the stories will take us, because we never script the show. Lisa takes us on a journey through love, life and loss in this show. We hope that you enjoy listening to her as much as we do.

Recorded live, with no overdubs, the show is always real, raw and full of surprises. As we like to say, it’s podcasting without a net…
