The Cat Club Podcast with Dayton’s My Dark Reality – Episode 203

After last week’s episode with TINO & K. Carter of Safe Money, we decided a double dose of back-to-back shows featuring bands from Dayton, Ohio is just what the doctor ordered…

Nerak Sr. and his son, Nerak Jr., better known as Oz and Death from Dayton rock band My Dark Reality join us this week. We talk about the band signing with Bentley Records in August 2020, Oz battling Covid-19 from a hospital bed, and the departure of vocalist Grunge. The guys give you the details on the new music they’ve been working on, with an EP hopefully to be released in late 2021.

Of course, you’ll hear music, too! They brought a track from their band (Nerak Roth Patterson Band) that preceded My Dark Reality, and it features Ian Anderson and Doane Perry from Jethro Tull. Who’s the principal songwriter for the band? You’ll find out in this episode…

*we had some issues with the band’s audio, and apologize for the quality not being what it should be.

Music on this week’s episode:

  1. My Dark Reality – Ashes To Ashes
  2. Nerak Roth Patterson Band – Trucking Man’s Blues
  3. My Dark Reality – Soulless
  4. My Dark Reality – Things You Should Know (with new vocals)
