“We’re expecting some turbulence ahead, so please fasten your seatbelts and return your tray tables to the upright and locked position…”
Hold on tight, because it’s going to be a bumpy ride as you get double the fun, double the music and all of the bad craziness. Two bands joined forces, and when Prime Directive describe themselves as “loud fast angry pop-punk about hating stuff… and sci-fi” and Howling Commandos call what they do “shit-kicker music,” you never know what will happen.
The bands got together and are releasing a split 7-inch on Friday, August 20. Also on that day, they are having a record release concert at the Summit Music Hall (Summit St., Columbus) with MethMatics and Mummula rounding out the lineup. The record will be available on both digital and vinyl.
Johnny, Mikey and Bryan from Prime Directive, along with Rory, Salvatore and Ben from Howling Commandos descended on the podcast with the force of ballistic missiles. The result was new music from the bands interspersed with a bit of gonzo conversation.
You can’t say we didn’t warn you…
