The topic of discussion this week is Pop Punk. Who knew Bill and Rick would be at loggerheads over what constitutes a Pop Punk band?
Music is subjective, which is a solid truth that cannot be disputed. That being said, Rick is old school and Bill is new skool, with the definite possibility of a rumble taking place between the two of them after school in the parking lot.
They explore two separate, yet distinctly coexistent trajectories that Pop Punk undertook on its journey through musical time. They start with music from the 1970s and continue right up to the present day.
